Task description

  • taking care of the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE)
  • organising the EGSE setup as well as maintaining its software
  • conducting the functional integration of optical instruments in accordance with external and internal instructions
  • evaluating test results and writing test reports
  • supporting the hard- and software integration as well as doing relevant tests on the on-board computer
  • preparing and conducting functional and environmental tests
  • analysing the Sentinel 4 test specifications and implementing test software and test procedures


  • degree in electrical engineering or computer science
  • professional experience in engineering, production, manufacturing technology, quality management and the aerospace industry
  • sound technological expertise as well as basic knowledge of development projects
  • good knowledge of electrical and measurement technology in electrical systems
  • advanced user knowledge of MS Office, C and C++ as well as of Unix/Linux and network protocols
  • business-proficient English skills
  • willingness to go on longer business trips with flexible working hours rounds off our profile
